My daughter would like to go on an African safari. What is the safest way to do this?

  1. in your car
  2. If you research Kissimee, FL, you will come across a wildlife park, whose name...ugh...I just can't remember right now..., that features African wildlife. One simply drives one's car right on thru. Otherwise, if she simply must go to Africa, then send her with a tour group. These things are generally well structured and about as safe and user-friendly as any tourist could ever desire.
  3. So far the best safaris are in Botswana, Kenya and South Africa. Advise your daughter to go for a guided safari tour. In a guided one safety and security is ensured. You can use Google South Africa ( http://www.google.co.za ) and enter these words "safari africa" or similar.
  4. air plan or helecopter
  5. look at ccafrica.com or abicrombie & kent. they are pretty upscale (think- expensive!!) but safe- you have private guides & guards with you. I am planning a trip next year & will go with one of those groups. south africa and botswana are much safer than kenya- there is more crime in kenya lately... i would not go there anymore.
  6. Great stuff. It depends on wher she wants to go for this safari! So the best way to do is get a contact in south africa to help you in finding the best travel agents and makeing the arrangements on your behalf. The best place for a great safari is most probbaly the kruger national park in south africa it is the largest game park in south africa and has got every thing you want to see elephants, lions, crocs and lots more! Please feel free to contact me as i can make arrangements for you! May God Bless you1
  7. TOUR GROUP. Don't listen to those who say 'in your car' 'cause one of SA's great crimes are hijackings - where machine guns are pointed in your face and you're told to get out of your car so they can take your car. Quite often they still rape and kill the drivers and passengers. I say, let her have a wonderful time but, in a trusted and reliable TOUR GROUP. Much safer. It's an experience she wouldn't want to miss.
