What is the best organization to travel to Africa with?

I want to go volunteer overseas and work at an orphanage in Africa. There are HUNDREDS of groups that go overseas, any advice as to who is the best to travel with, does the most work, covers the most territory, has the most experience, etc??!

2. all the same really.why dont you just do your own neighborhood ,why is it u feel u can impact a place who dont actually give a damn if you starve in ur own world.at least u serve ur own without your little guilt trip pouring out.africa survives best without western influence by the way. fix ur own area 1st before trying to fix something u havent a clue about.

5. Do it yourself. Accra, Ghana or Dakar, Senegal would be easy. You raise some money, get in touch with a church or whatever and go help. In Dakar you can't walk 90 seconds without meeting an orphan with his can. Anyone charging a fee is a criminal. I met so many people who paid $1500 for airfare because they want to share Jesus. I met so many people on my trips to Africa where the women were painting churches. Pay the local men $5 an hour to do it and teach the children math or reading or Jesus. It makes me ANGRY. SINNER
