Does any have, or could help me find the instrumental of Africa by Toto.? Im writing a new song (I write raps, and slow rhymes) and the lyrics i have just done would fit exactly with Toto - Africa, i cant find the instruemtnal anywhere though. Can anyone help? Thanks so much.
What is the Toto song "Africa" about? This might be the most epic and beautiful song I've ever heard. Now, the only thing I wonder is what the meaning of the lyrics is (if there is any)? Thanks! :)
africa by toto remix? I think I heard a song with the beat from toto's 'africa' song. But I want to know who sang it or the song. Some of the lyrics included...baby when we get to rendevouz....
A song based on Toto'a Africa...who's is it? Hi folks! Last night I heard a quite good track on one of our local radio channels. It was a remake or remix of Toto's Africa...a kind of soul or RnB one with rap parts and vocals of perhaps black guys. Since I like the original track, I tried to find it on the web to check under whose name this track was published. I've searched according to the lyrics and also according to the title and artist of the original Toto, but I haven't managed to find it until now. Could anybody tell me the exact artist or title of this new (ifn it's really new?) version of Toto's Africa? Thanks a lot! Sir McMonk Unfortunately, none of them: Nas - "New World" released on album November 23, 1999 Ja Rule - "Murder Reigns" released on album November 19, 2002 Xzibit - "Heart of Man" released on album October 1, 2002 JoJo - "Anything" released in U.S. on May 8, 2007 is the one that I heard. The main "voice" and "voices" were men's, and it was very similar to the original one: the same sounds, almost the same lyrics, and only short rap parts. The best was the chorus, that gave almost the same feeling that it was with Toto's, but I think there were only MEN. I think they were black only because of the tone of their voices. They could be white guy at all... No, it's certainly not the one by 2Pac. Then what on Earth could it be. Since then I've been watching 5-6 music channels on TV hoping to find it, because the composition and "atmosphere" of the track I heard was like it's not been made years ago, but there's nothing. And there aren't just samples of Africa in it. It's almost the same. Very similar. I GOT IT, I GOT IT !!!!! It's KARL WOLF - AFRICA Awesome! Thanks for those who tried to help me! Bye
Who's the female singer who used Toto's "Africa" in one of her songs or what is the song title? I can't find it and don't remember the lyrics either. I wonder if it's any good. Thanks for your help! That's not the one I'm asking about, but yes, a cover song. The version I'm wondering about features kind of hip hop or pop music and girl like Rihanna but maybe not her singing it. Haven't heard it in about a year.
what new song has this lyrics " i miss the rains down in africa"? i heard this song on virgin radio that has this lyrics, this is a new song but when i searched google for this lyrics, it showed me an old toto song with the same chorus which is not the song im looking for. please answer as soon as possible
There's a song by a female artist that uses Toto's "Africa" as background music. Who is she? She sang new lyrics, but we were in a noisy restaurant and I couldn't hear them well enough to make out them out. The voice was familiar but I couldn't place it. I've done every google search I can think of, but still can't find who it is. Does anybody know who this might be? Thank-you Gidgit, I found my answer there. I thought I had looked at that page before I must have just missed it. The artist I was looking for is "Jojo", and the song is "Anything" Thanks again. :)
What Canadian Artist sings the new "Africa" remake? Hey, There's this song that they're playing on Canadian R&B stations that is a remake of Toto's "Africa". I think a lot of the lyrics are changed, but the chorus is the same. I'd really like to know who sings it and what it's actually called...if it's called "Africa" or something different...so I can get my hands on a copy. If anyone know anything about it...please let me know! Thanks!

Rain in africa title? I am looking for the lyrics or name of a song, I assume it's a christmas song, since that is the only time I hear it on the radio. I believe the songs lyrics are something like "I just wish it would rain in Africa/ wash away the pain down in Africa." AND, I'm pretty sure it is NOT Toto's "I bless the rains down in Africa." I have already read those lyrics, and they are not what I remember.
What song was used in American Idol this week? What was the song played on American Idol tonight during the update in Africa with Elliot and Kara? I heard somewhere it was "Afria originally sung by Toto" but i swear i hear the work doorway and when I looked up the lyrics for the song "Africa" the word doorway wasn'y in it.

Who sings the current "Africa" remix? I know the original song was by Toto, but I've recently been hearing a slightly different version on the radio. I can't find the lyrics or who sings this remix. Any help? thanks =)
Song Help - what song is this? I know this is going to be pretty vague, but maybe someone will know it... There's a song that starts off with Toto - Africa, but it isn't a remake of it. Once the intro is done, it goes "I don't know, what you do" or something, then it goes to "Just can't stay away" and something about giving a feeling they can't do in the lyrics. It's plays on a pop radio station all the time. Any clues?
What is this hip hop song? Its new, played on hip hop music stations (I heard it on jammin' 107.5 portland), and I dont know who its by.... its a love song, and a guy sings it. The most distincitve thing about it is it as a jamaican sort of beat, almost like a junlge beat... it reminds of the song Rains down in Africa by toto. I cant remember any specific lyrics, but I remember they werent very creative... I know itsnot a lot of information, but I am very curious lol. Thank you! His voice sounds kind of like Jason Derulo, but its not him. And Ive tried oging to the website, and I havent found it there... I know it is popular though, because I heard it twice yesterday. Yesterday was the first time I heard it, though.
What was the funniest misheard lyric that you've ever heard? Throughout my life I listened to music, and hearing misheard lyrics is the funniest thing that ever happened to me when I was listening on the radio! Here are some of my examples of such experiences: 1.) When I first listened to the chorus of KT Tunstall's "Suddenly I See", I thought that the song title that I accidentally heard was "Strawberry Ice Tea". 2.) I thought that I heard "marry me"- as in participating in holy matrimony- in the chorus when I first heard "The Kill" by 30 Seconds To Mars. The lyric is actually "bury me", as in burying a dead body. 3.) Here's a correct lyric to The Who's "Behind Blue Eyes": "Nobody knows what it's like to be the bad man". I once thought the singer was mentioning Batman the superhero! 4.) Instead of hearing "I bless the rains down in Africa" in Toto's "Africa", I misheard it as "I guess it rains down in Africa". I'm now asking you the question: What was the funniest misheard lyric that you've ever heard? Please give me examples.
Do you know the name of this song? I can't really remember the lyrics, the name of the song, or the artist. I know it sounds like a cross between Send Me On my Way by Rusted Root, The Lion Sleeps Tonight by The Tokens, and Africa by Toto. Some of the most repeated background lyrics in the song sound similiar to "on my way". Any suggestions are appreciated. there's definitly a guitar and something that resembles a flute a man sings it, but there are other voices in the backgroung vocals.
